Ernest Jackson, Principal of St. Michael Elementary in Netcong, NJ watches students using the new iPads they were given at the beginning of the year. St. Michael's is one of five schools in the country, and the only one in New Jersey, to be piloting a program that integrates iPads into everyday use in the classroom using a free application called Net Texts. Teachers and students use their iPads for every subject and have the advantage of up-to-date information over outdated textbooks. Principal Jackson is an AMRA member and serves on the National Membership Committee.
Proudly We Wave Campaign – AMRA has prepared the attractive cards below to help members nicely let their neighbors know when the flag they are flying is torn or soiled and should be replaced. Members should first thank the neighbor for flying their flag but if they do not wish to personally present the card, it has been designed so that it can easily be mailed to a neighbor or local business. Members may request a supply of six (6) cards by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Proudly We Wave, AMRA National Headquarters, 5436 Peru St., Suite 1, Plattsburgh, NY 12901.
